To ensure that club records are accurate and fair, they generally have to be set at (official) regional meetings.
This ensures that measurements are accurate and properly taken.
Records in field events (throws and jumps) from official meetings will be accepted once the official results are sent to Eastern by the host club or region.
Track records are now only accepted where they are supported by electronic timing. This also means track records can only be set at regional meetings - with the exception of Eastern's Club Championships which are held at Towers Track (where electronic timing is used).
If you believe a record has been broken - please bring this to the attention of the club administration.
